A Christmas Blessing

Several years ago there was a man about to read his Bible. The Lord suddenly commanded him to read the Christmas story in Luke 2:1-7.
“And it came to pass in those days that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed…And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem (because he was of the house and lineage of David) to be taxed with Mary his wife, being great with child. And so it was that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered and she brought forth her firstborn son…”
This edict caused the family to go to Bethlehem thus fulfilling the prophecy of Micah 5:2:
“and thou Bethlehem Ephratah though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”
Then the Lord asked the gentleman: “How can you apply this Scripture to your personal life?”
He replied: ”Well it shows that Jesus fulfilled the prophecy of Micah 5:2 that the Messiah would come from Bethlehem”
The Lord responded: “Yes but how can you take this Scripture and apply it to your personal life today?”
After thinking for a while the man said: “Lord, I don’t just don’t know.”
God spoke: “When Caesar moved the entire empire I was the one who made him do it (upon hearing this the gentleman recalled the words in the Book of Daniel saying that God reigns in the affairs of man. In Proverbs 21 Solomon said “the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord”.
God continued: Caesar had no desire to be obedient to Me. In fact Caesar considered himself to be god. But I the Lord moved him to move the empire.
The Lord continued: Why did I do such a thing? Why didn’t I just tell Joseph to take Mary to Bethlehem in order to fulfill the prophecy? A prophecy to the “smallest of Judah”.
After all, I spoke to him to take Mary to be his wife. I spoke to him to go to Egypt. Why would I move an entire empire to fulfill one prophecy to such a seemingly insignificant village?
The gentleman said: Please speak on I’m listening.
Then the profound blessing of God’s love and wisdom came forth.
God said: I moved an entire empire to fulfill one prophecy to the least of the thousands of Judah. How much more will I move heaven and earth to fulfill one promise to those for whom I was crucified?

Nearly 1,000,000 children reported missing in America. Hundreds of thousands of child prostitutes in America. Extremists use pornography for funding and message encryption.. Drug Cartels are in America. Sexualization of the culture is fueling the demand for sex trafficking. The problem is great. There is hope.
The Hope: About a month ago, I received a telephone call from a professor at an Eastern University seeking help regarding her little four year old child. During the conversation she shared that her Christian friends were praying for her, yet she wasn’t a Christian. I shared my testimony. I asked if there was any reason for her not to accept Jesus as her Savior? She said “no” and so she did.
“All the hope I have of rescuing my daughter I have because of people I saw on your conference site and I reached out to them.

Conference Scope During the last several years we have produced eight national/ international Preventing Abuse Conferences addressing human trafficking, child abduction, Internet safety and the drug cartels.
The Soldier Testimony:
It never ceases to amaze me to hear great stories of the impact of our conferences. Just a few days ago I was speaking with a friend who attended one of our conferences. Thereafter she shared about it with her son.
He was so motivated that he joined the military and spec. operations. Upon completion of duty, he wants to do rescues of human trafficking victims.
The Incredible Rescue:
At one conference a man asked speaker Noreen Gosch if she could help find his daughter who was being trafficked. She said “yes”. A few months later she received an email from him saying
“I got my daughter…don’t ever stop talking about human trafficking”. Dear friends, it was the conference that brought Noreen and the father together and resulted in the rescue of the daughter.

In recent days we’ve seen massive demonstrations against “Wall Street”
The demonstrators direct their anger at the economy and the perceived cuprit of Wall Street and capitalism.
Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater.
Who/What is to Blame:
To blame capitalism for the current economic crisis is like blaming a car for adrunkdriving accident. Adrunkdriving accident is caused by the driver. So is the current economic crisis caused by those who have abbrogated their moral values putting the profit motive above moral standards of right and wrong. This ignores the root of the problem which is a moral disintegration.

The problems are still here. Recently I received a news report of an arrest of a man allegedly assaulting an 11 month old while video taping it.
Some people ask “How could someone do this?” I respond: “You’re not considering the real nature of evil”.

No Prayer, No God, No Protection
The Prayer and the Valedictorian
Dear friends,
As most know a judge in Texas banned a Valedictorian student from praying at the High School graduation because of a lawsuit initiated by one person.
When I read this I thought of several things
1. Declaration of Independence:
The founding document of the United States, i.e. The Declaratin of Independence was predicated upon the reality of God as benefactor of human rights of “…life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness…”These courageous men submitted the following capstone to their “declaration”
“…therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions,…”
Declaration of IndependenceWithout prayer and God we would have no nation …and no judges
2. The Constitution:
When the founding fathers were struggling about the form of government and the representation the states would have in that government Benjamin Franklin said that if a sparrow cannot fall from the sky without God knowing it surely a great nation cannot rise without his help.
Thereupon he called for a time of prayer. They all agreed and when they returned God answered their prayer.
Without prayer we would have not government …and no judges
3. Law of Subjective Responsibility:
All Americans need beware that the actions and decisions of a government leadership directly impacts those over whom they govern.
When Pharoah refused to let Israel go. God through Moses unleashed ten plague on the nation of Egypt. Although it was only Pharoah that sinned the whole nation of Egypt suffered….and they did not have a voice in government.
4. We Pray or We Lose
This nation via judicial sytem has rejected God from the nation. There is one group that prays alot….the narco terrorissts of the cartels. Yes they use occult, demon worship and worse to seek protection from law enforcement. Yes, they are here in America (over 250 cities). In America there are hundreds of thousands of child prostitutes but children cannot pray at their high school graduation.
We just encountered hundreds of tornadoes destroying live and people. Our nation is falling under the weight if fiscal immorality. Our nation is addicted to narcotics comprising 5% of the world’s population but consuming 50% of worlds illicit drugs.
The hedge of God’s protection has been abandoned.
5. We the People must take action:
All judges and elected officials who do not ascrible to the principles of the Founding Fathers need be unelected from public office. That is what happened in Iowa where by a 7-0 vote the Supreme Court of Iowa allowed homosexual marriage.
In the following election three of those judges were up for voter approval. They were soundly cast out of office.
6. CONCLUSION: We always hear “God bless America by government and civic leaders but children cannot pray. How can we expect God’s blessing if our children cannot pray the Great Benefactor and Judge of the World?
7. NEW DEVELOPMENT: Appeals Court reverses lower Court judge and allows prayer. Something to consider: Why was the ruling reversed and rights maintained? Because this young Christian girl stood up for her rights and exercised her civic, legal and moral right to act. She’s a role postive model.
